Call and ask
How many, what day, what time, and the name for the table. That’s the whole call.
Wood-fired California cooking, Tuesday through Sunday. A wood oven, a short menu that changes with the season, a covered patio, and a phone that always picks up.
There is no online booking. The phone is the front door. Call any hour; Jamie takes the request and the host stand confirms it.

Every request is confirmed by text within the hour. Until then it’s a request, not a promise — and we’ll say so.
Tables are held fifteen minutes past the reservation time. Running late? Call and we'll do what we can.
Walk-ins are always welcome. Friday and Saturday between 7 and 9 pm the wait usually runs thirty to forty-five minutes; the host can hold a table for later instead. Parties of seven to twelve dine from a set menu. Thirteen or more, and anything in the Copper Room or on the patio as a buyout, go to Dana on the events team for a written proposal within one business day.
Buyouts, set menus and catering are never priced on the phone. Dana, our events manager, sends a written proposal within one business day.

To start: call +1 (619) 304-6194 with the date, the headcount and what you have in mind. Jamie takes it down and Dana follows up.
Closed Mondays. Brunch on the weekend. Dogs on the patio.
The kitchen closes thirty minutes before the dining room. Specials change nightly and are only on the board — ask your server, not the phone.
Reservations and questions: +1 (619) 304-6194. Complaints reach Sam, the manager on duty, the same day.
Free lot behind the building, and street parking on the avenue after 6 pm.
Always. There's a kids' menu and high chairs — ask the host to note a high chair on your table.
None. Come as you are.
Covered and heated, open year-round, dog-friendly. We can't promise a specific table, the patio or a booth — the host notes it and does everything they can.
The kitchen shares space with tree nuts and shellfish, so no dish is guaranteed allergen-free. Tell your server the moment you're seated and they'll walk you through what's safe.
Not by phone yet. The menu above is what we serve; order at the bar.
Ask for the manager on duty. If it's after you've left, call and the manager calls you back the same day.
